Elmar Mock, co-inventor of the Swatch and serial entrepreneur, visits New England
On March 2nd and 3rd, Elmar Mock , co-inventorof the most successful wristwatch in history, the swatch, visited points in New England. For his visit, swissnexBoston lined up a series of keynote lectures and interviews at major entrepreneurship and innovation hubs in Boston and New Haven.
As a first stop, Elmar Mock spoke to students,researchers and entrepreneurs at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, during an event co-organized with the newly-formed Swiss Students and Affiliates at Yale and the Swiss Consulate General in New York. Mr. Mock also offered a lecture at Northeastern University in Boston, as part of the University’s Presidential Innovation Speaker Series. As a grand finale, swissnex Boston hosted Mr. Mock at swissnex’s facilities in Cambridge for “La grande soirée de la francophonie”, an evening of an insightful and engaging interview conducted by journalist, Heidi Legg, from theeditorial.com, with a live audience present.
