Meet our Geneva Summer Schools contest winner

Meet Ashrita Hanmiah, our Geneva Summer Schools contest winner! She will be attending Global Health and Human Rights this summer. We’ll follow her journey to Geneva and her GSS experience.

“Being a part of the Geneva Summer Schools program will be an incredible opportunity for me to study global health issues and the challenges of healthcare from an international perspective and at the core of decision-making, change and action. By directly being in a mélange of cultures and meeting students who share my passion for global health, I look forward to embracing the different perspectives and experiences offered by the professors, peers, and international organizations in Geneva. This will be unique passage for me in rediscovering the fundamental, humanistic root of healthcare, fostering a deeper awareness and initiative for action that I can actualize as I continue to pursue a career in medicine – all while being enriched by the beautiful and diverse culture that the city holds. Thank you Swissnex Boston and Geneva Summer Schools for this opportunity!”
