“Best of Switzerland”, Media Tour of Switzerland Tourism at swissnex Boston. April 29
On April 29, swissnex Boston and Switzerland Tourism invited fifteen journalists from New England to the Consulate in order to give them a taste of the hospitality in Switzerland with a focus on the sustainability achievements. On that occasion, Michelle Kranz, Media Relations Manager for Switzerland Tourism North America was accompanied by four representatives from Basel Tourism, Valais Tourism, Ticino Tourism and Jungfrau Region who highlighted the main attractions of their Canton for the upcoming summer. Furthermore, the guests had the opportunity to taste a fine selection of Swiss wines and chocolate creations, introduced by Ann Czaja, Master Chocolatier with Lindt. After a typical Swiss lunch provided by the Swiss Bäkers, the event ended with a birthday-cake to celebrate the 100 years of promoting traveling to Switzerland in North America.
