The Consulate of Switzerland hosted its 2nd Annual Swiss Info Evening. This event was co-organized with the AFS Cultural Services, represented by Douglas Bates, a long time friend of the Swiss Consulate in Boston.
The list of the speakers included:
• Marianne Biber, President of the Swiss Society in Boston
• René Limacher, member of the Boston chapter of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce (President: Peter Vogel)
• Daniela Domeisen, swisslink Boston
• Douglas Bates, member of the Friends of Switzerland (President: Marc Redlich)
• Emil Wyss, Anina Köppli Hitz, Thomas Bühler, and Philipp Kälin from the Consulate-swissnex Boston
All 5 Swiss Organizations offer a variety of activities. 75 guests, many of them for the first time, enjoyed an informative and casual evening including a Swiss style reception provided by the SwissBakers.
