A Conversation with John Sadowsky on “The Changing Face of Leadership”, Sept. 14th
Strengthened by our SwissBäker’s breakfast, our early morning participants dove into a conversation with John Sadowsky, distinguished professor at Grenoble Graduate School of Management and entrepreneurial expert, on “The Changing Face of Leadership”. The small group of 20 people who ranged from CEO’s, researchers, professors and consultants exchanged different point of views and questions on cultural differences in leadership, “slow management” which aims at connecting with people on a micro/individual level, the importance of the coffee machine for networking face to face, the difficulties in transitioning from entrepreneur to leader, how to set up a structure that also allows for going off on a “riff”, and how stereotypical female qualities are of great assets for managing and leading a company.
We thank John Sadowsky for leaving us with a lot of food for thought and inspiration. You can follow John on his blog/website and soon on facebook and twitter. So stay tuned!
