Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz replied favorably to hold a video conference with Professor Jens Drolshammer and his law students of the University St. Gallen in the eastern part of Switzerland. The students prepared a wide array of questions related to Dershowitz’ book "America on Trial: Inside the Legal Battles That Transformed Our Nation - From the Salem Witches to the Guantanamo Detainees".
Professor Drolshammer and his students obviously enjoyed the opportunity to have this conference with this world know expert. Professor Dershowitz on his part had flattering remarks about SHARE, its infrastructure, and proximity to Harvard. He considers another meeting, this time in St. Gallen before the end of the semester.
"I select my cases without regard to whether the defendant is guilty or what I think of him personally….. I try to pick the most challenging, the most difficult, and the most precedent-setting cases".
