In parallel to the international conference of the Amercian Association for Cancer research (Nov. 15-19), Debiopharm Group, a Lausanne-based company specilalized in biopharmaceutical development, organized a symposium with local partners around the topic "Inhibition of HSP 90 for Cancer Therapy." On that occasion, fifty representatives from the international cancer research scene were invited to the Colonnade Hotel were the had they could listen to and to discuss with experts in the field of HSP 90, among them Professor Paul Workman (Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton, UK), Dr. Neal Rosen (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre), Dr. Mitchell Keegan (Curis, USA) and Dr. Silvano Brienza (Debiopharm Group, France).
The symposium was also part of Debiopharm's strategy to strenghten its resereach collaboration with the Boston aera started last summer with the signature of several partnerships.
