Discovering differences: WU MBA students at swissnex Boston
Brought to Cambridge by the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), a group of 23 first and second year MBA students visited the swissnex Boston office this past Wednesday to explore the inner workings of the Swiss Consulate. Interactive presentations were arranged for to the group to help understand how swissnex is helping European (i.e. Swiss) entrepreneurs to take advantage of the rich entrepreneurial environment in the Boston/Cambridge area.
With backgrounds in information systems, telecommunications and consulting, to just name a few, the WU MBA students eagerly participated in hands-on activities at swissnex Boston, producing valuable insights on swissnex Boston’s existing organizational structure. The students are touring the Boston area for a week, hoping to discover how starting and running businesses differ between Europe and the United States.
The Vienna University of Economics and Business has brought MBA students to Boston for the past few years; however, this visit marks their first trip to swissnex Boston.
