Dress up and bike to work? Yes we can!, May 15
For the 2009 Bay State Bike Week swissnex Boston led a bike ride to celebrate the convenient, healthy and environmentally friendly way of commuting from the Swiss Consulate to the City Hall Plaza. Our goal was to showcase, that one can bike while being dressed up. Cyclists from around Cambridge biked to our Consulate where they were treated with a healthy Swiss style Breakfast. Afterwards everyone, including our Consul Pascal Marmier and the Consul General of Switzerland in Atlanta Claudio Leoncavallo (see blog entry below)was biking to the City Hall Plaza where we were promoting Switzerland as a biking Nation with a booth, handing out brochures, visor caps and chocolate.
