European Innovation & Entrepreneurship Workshop, January 23 at Stata Center, MIT
In collaboration with the Delegation of the European Commission to the USA, swissnex Boston, organized a workshop to point out the strengths and opportunities of the innovative and entrepreneurial European countries. Thanks to the collaboration with our Boston-based colleagues from various European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria), we gathered an exciting panel.

After words of welcome by Minister Counselor Laurent Bochereau, Head of the Science, Technology & Education – Delegation of the European Commission to the USA, the panel discussion began with a Keynote Speech held by Julio de Castro, Professor of Entrepreneurship, Lewis Family Chair in Global Management, and vice-dean of research at Instituto de Empresa. Many facets of being an entrepreneur in the European landscape were discussed. To answer questions regarding the individual countries, many representatives, Consuls, science and technology officers or members of the chambers of commerce were present for a reception following the workshop.
