Federal Councillor Burkhalter meets Boston’s young talents

| The Boston area is known as much for its education and innovation as for its history and culture. So when Federal Councillor Didier Burkhalter visited the USA to celebrate the swissnex network’s tenth anniversary, he made a point of seeing first-hand what makes this area world-renowned: its young talents.
Mr. Burkhalter and his delegation spent two days touring the campuses of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University to meet with local practitioners and Swiss researchers in higher education and innovation: the leaders of tomorrow. They also witnessed the signing of a joint program between prolific Swiss and US schools, and brainstormed the role of swissnex in science diplomacy.
