The 2nd Annual Transatlantic Videoconference on Innovations in E-learning had a focus on the Financial Services Sector. SHARE Boston and the New England Learning Association (NELA) joined together for a special mid day boxed lunch broadcast from both Zurich Switzerland and Cambridge Massachusetts.

Esteemed experts from both sides of the Atlantic will discussed in a virtual workshop successful award winning learning programs in the financial services sector.
Elisabeth Farmer, Program Director, Swiss Banking Institute, University of Zurich, presented the course "eCF - Get involved in Corporate Finance" which has been awarded with the Medida Prix 2006 (Europe's highest endowed media).
Jonathan D. Small, Assistant Dean/Manager of E-Learning Instructional Design, New England College of Finance (NECF) talked on education and training in the United States in the financial services industry, which changed 1999 due to the “Financial Services Modernization Act”, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
Allan Cole of NELA and Remo Steinmetz of SHARE moderated the lively discussion in this virtual workshop, kindly co-hosted again by the friends of NET ETH Zurich. Thanks to Thomas Rechsteiner and his crew!
