Long-known as a home away from home, swissnex Boston recently welcomed 50 young Swiss out of the wintery cold for an evening of fine Fendant and warm fondue.
Connecting the dots with our friends at SwissLink Boston, we gladly hosted their annual fondue evening on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, when cheese lovers gathered for a flavorful reminder of home.
Exchanging news, reminiscing, catching up and making new friends—all over bubbling pots—guests savored dishes prepared by SwissLink and swissnex “chefs.”
And if that wasn’t enough to rekindle fond memories, SwissLinkers competed in a thrilling raffle for tickets to Switzerland donated by Swiss International Airlines. The winners, revealed by swissnex Boston’s Sabine and Francesco amid tremendous suspense, were Gilles Roulet and Rie Sommer.
