MIT Engineering Coffee Hour, September 11, 2009
Today, swissnex Boston hosted the MIT Engineering Coffee Hour of the Graduate Association of Mechanical Engineers (GAME). GAME’s aim is to organize activities which strengthen and enrich the Mechancial Engineering community. Nevan C. Hanumara, a mechanical engineering graduate student, gave us a warm welcome at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus. Jacqueline Gasser-Beck, Advisor of Education and Academic Affairs at swissnex, presented the Swiss Universities, focusing on ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne. Moreover, she gave an insight on career opportunities for engineers in Switzerland. Other than the usually served donuts, the Swiss-style breakfast was highly appreciated by approximately seventy hungry MIT students who attended.
