New England Business Breakfast at the Residence of the Consulate of Switzerland, September 11, 2009

On September 11, the Residence of the Consulate of Switzerland in Lexington hosted the semi-monthly New England Business Breakfast. This event, whose first edition took place in New Hampshire under the leadership of Bruno Walser, was co-organized by the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce (thanks to Stephanie Orphanos). The event brought together local entrepreneurs, professors, lawyers and engineers that have developed strong business connections with Switzerland. Besides networking, the goal of these meetings is to talk about the evolution and recent developments of their companies. This year, there was a lot of talk on the impact of the current crisis and the challenges of operating in a troubled economy.
