New interns take on Boston
New interns take on Boston
Marie-Charlotte Bagnoud and Sabine Ledermann grew up in opposite ends of Switzerland speaking different languages.
While they both hold master’s degrees, Marie-Charlotte studied economical and international law at the University of Fribourg, and Sabine chose media and communications at the University of Zurich. Their last jobs were at the Swiss Embassy in Washington D.C. and the Swiss film industry in Zurich, respectively.
As of January 2011, however, Marie-Charlotte and Sabine have something in common: they now work side-by-side as swissnex Boston’s newest interns. Marie-Charlotte runs ventures related to the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce while Sabine hones her project management skills in communication. Yet they’re both developing their knack for networking and skills in handling new projects while acquiring a truly global work experience at swissnex Boston. “It really is a diverse environment here in Boston,” Sabine said. “There’s a bit of everything in terms of the people, the technologies, the areas of research…” | ![]() |
“That’s true,” Marie-Charlotte chimed in. “It’s a great challenge for us but we’re enjoying it, especially the networking: meeting people from every possible field makes working here very interesting.”
They’re looking forward to making interesting connections during their Boston stint, so feel free to say hi at the next swissnex Boston event!
