Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) meets University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur, May 21
On May 21, the review of the final RISD / HTW spring studio took place in Rhode Island. The students of Professor Chris Bardt, who has been collaborating with swissnex Boston on several occasions before, have worked for an entire semester on project proposals related to the region of Grisons. They also studied the special circumstances an architect has to face when planning a project in an area with a difficult topology, hard winters, historic buildings and small villages. The students presented their project to a final jury. Daniel Walser, who teaches at the HTW Chur, and Ramun Capaul, a local Grisons Architect, who hosted the students during their stay in Switzerland, were part of the jury.
