Science and technology opportunities in Switzerland: Networking Reception at swissnex Boston, January 23
swissnex Boston hosted a Swiss networking reception on January 23. The event took place in connection to the European Career Fair at MIT (Jan. 24-26, 2009) and showcased science and technology opportunities available at Swiss companies, universities and research institutions (in Switzerland and abroad). Participating organizations included ABB, Lonza, Novartis, Zurich Financial Services, the University of Basel and the University of St. Gallen which kindly co-sponsored the event. In the first part of the event, the institutions briefly introduced their activities and recruiting fields. During the following Swiss-style reception provided by the SwissBäkers, the 200 participants had the chance to meet with the company and university representatives in a relaxed atmosphere and to mix and mingle with other guests.
