Studying international affairs in Switzerland
On Thursday, October 6th, students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the field international relations had the opportunity to learn about Master programs of three prestigious graduate schools.
Dan Birdsall, from the Admission office of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, started off the evening by presenting its institution and its five Master programs. Birdsall highlighted the Fletcher School’s partnership with the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, which was represented by Laurent Neury, Academic Advisor. Neury continued the discussion of his institution and stunned the guests when explaining that 80% of the Geneva-based school’s students are international. Finally, Daniela Engelmann presented the University of Gallen’s School of Management, which is ranked regularly as one of Europe’s leading Business Schools, and also has a successful partnership with the Fletcher School.
After the presentations and the Q&A questions, students could network with the school representatives over a tasty buffet, and mingle with some of the alumni of the Graduate Institute, whom were also present at the reception.
