Successful Swiss films at Boston’s Film Festivals
For the first time the jury of the European Short Film Festival (ESFF), organized by MIT, compiles a collection from the festival to be shown in independent cinemas in the Boston area (and possibly other cinemas around the US). Two of the Swiss films Ronaldo by Jan Mettler and Jan-Eric Mack from the Zurich University of the Arts, and Kwa Heri Mandima by Robert-Jean Lacombe from the University of Art & Design Lausanne, have been selected to be included in the “Best of ESFF” collection.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the films to get exposure in the US. swissnex Boston is happy to be a co-organizer and sponsor of the ESFF and to be the connector for the promotion of Swiss films in the Greater Boston area.
Three Swiss films participated at the Boston LGBT Filmfestival for the first time as well: Off Beat by Jan Gassmann, Mama Mama Papa Papa by Remo Hegglin and Cesare Macri and Cappuccino by Tamer Ruggli.
