Swiss national startup team visits Boston!
Once again, swissnex Boston was delighted to host a group of 20 high-tech entrepreneurs from Switzerland. This program, called Venture Leaders, is organized by Venture Laboratory and sponsored by the foundation Gebert Ruf of Basel. The seventh edition of this program was definitely a success! The boot camp atmosphere provided a unique opportunity for the entrepreneurial leaders to test their technologies and their leadership skills against some of the world-class members of the Boston high-tech community.

The entrepreneurs represented all major Swiss tech universities and institutes, various industries (bio, nano, mobile, sensors) and had ventures ranging from planning stage to VC-ready established companies. The following link gives an overview of all the participants and their projects:

During their twelve days in Boston, the venture leaders met with leading entrepreneurs/startups, pitched their ideas in front of a crowd of 100+ people and got feedback from a panel of experts. As usual, they also took 4 days of classes at Babson College to refine their executive summaries and get a further understanding of finance, business planning, negotiation and marketing.
We wish them all the best for a successful growth around the world… from their Swiss base!
