swissnex Boston visits EPFL, July 7, 2009

On July 7, Jacqueline Gasser-Beck, Advisor for Education and Academic Affairs and Pierre Dorsaz, Project Manager for Innovation and Technology visited EPFL in Lausanne. They started their visit with a discussion about EPFL’s internationalization strategy with Antoine Fromentin, Head of International Relations Unit. In the afternoon, they were accompanied by Jérôme Grosse, Head of the Communication, to several laboratories where they had the opportunity to talk with a few professors and their research staff. They met in particular Associate Professor Melody Swartz, from the Laboratory of Lymphatic and Cancer Bioengineering and Professor László Forró, from the Laboratory of Nanostructures and Novel Materials.
