swissnex helps bring Cabaret Voltaire to Boston

The Cabaret Voltaire made a dazzling appearance in Cambridge this month, and swissnex Boston played a leading role in putting on the show!
The A.R.T. (American Repertory Theater) recently launched a two-month run of “The Blue Flower.” The musical is a tumultuous love story played out in the heyday of the Dada Movement amid the conflict of World War I.
Connecting the dots for the first time with the A.R.T. was easy. With the play’s setting deeply rooted in Zurich’s Cabaret Voltaire, swissnex Boston was proud to be the sole sponsor of “The Blue Flower’s” gala launch on December 8, 2010. This also triggered a fresh collaboration with the Cabaret Voltaire, itself. Pleased that an American theater company was setting its new play in its famous milieu, the Cabaret Voltaire generously supplied dramaturgy materials for its American audience.
Harvard students made an extensive Dada-esque art installation in the lobby of the Loeb Theater on historic Brattle Street. Along with this, swissnex Boston gained rewarding visibility with a whole new audience through banners, brochures and, of course, classic Swiss chocolates from Lindt!
The after party for the sold-out launch, which swissnex Boston sponsored, featured an astonishing array of sweet and savory treats prepared by swissbakers, as well as wine and beer from Swiss makers.
swissnex Boston was honored to connect the dots with the revered A.R.T., marking the start of a fruitful collaboration with the arts in New England.
