swissnex Boston hosted a business breakfast on transatlantic venturing for international companies. The breakfast was co-organized by Switzerland Trade and Investment Promotion, a Swiss government agency providing advice and assistance to companies, and High Street Partners Inc., a company that offers a range of cross-border services to companies doing business around the world.
Swiss and American delegates discussed the opportunities and challenges of partnering, alliances and direct investments. Daniel Bangser, Director NA & Trade Commissioner of Switzerland Trade & Investment Promotion, opened the panel with some introductory remarks about Switzerland (please find slides here), before Scott Aldsworth, VP Business Development with High Street Partners Inc., Charles Remsberg, CEO of Hocoma (Swiss company with operations in Boston area) and Steve Vinter, Site Director of Google (U.S. based company with operations in Switzerland) opened the discussion and answered questions related to “Doing business in Switzerland”.
