Think Swim, Think Swiss: Panel Discussion at the Institute for Human Centered Design, March 18
The exhibit “Think Swim, Think Swiss: Bringing Swiss-Style Swimming to the Charles River” is a joint effort of swissnex Boston and the Charles River Conservancy to bring back urban river swimming to the Charles River. The exhibit is currently on display at the Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston until April 23, 2009. A panel discussion on March 18 moderated by the Conservancy President Renata von Tscharner and featuring State Representative Alice Wolf, DCR Director of Public Private Partnerships Conrad Crawford, William Walsh-Rogalski of the EPA, and Anina Koeppli-Hitz of swissnex Boston marked the opening of the exhibit. It highlighted the efforts of the various organizations to make the Charles River swimmable again and it showcased Switzerland as a role model in doing so.
