On April 26 and April 27 swissnex Boston hosted a delegation from Presence Switzerland. Yves Morath, Head of the foreign Desk, Pascal Prinz, Program Manager in the US and Marianne Staeger, Desk Officer for the US. The group started their program by joining a family event on swimming structure that we co-organized with the Charles River Conservancy as part of the Cambridge Science Festival. This event was followed by a lunch and a Harvard Campus Tour organized by two Harvard Law students (Philipp Fischer and Joelle Becker) in the afternoon before participating at the opening dinner of the Property Rights Conference in the evening. On the second day the delegation visited MIT, where Eveline Geiser, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences introduced them to her research. Over lunch, the group discussed current topics on public diplomacy and nation branding with experts of Tufts (Bernard Simonin), Harvard (Jed Willard, head of Public Diplomacy project, and Michelle Stanners, cultural diplomacy expert), and an entrepreneur Hadi Barkat. Before leaving Boston the delegation visited the SCIENCEsuisse exhibition at the Logan Airport.
