Young Swiss Talents kick off day long (re)opening celebration, March 30
More than 70 "Swiss talents" - PhDs, students, postdocs, professors and entrepreneurs - joined the Swiss delegation to learn about research and startup projects and establish transatlantic relationships. State Secretary Dell'Ambrogio started the session with a keynote speech that highlighted the importance of the Boston-based talents for Switzerland: “As you all represent the next generation of world class scientists and entrepreneurs, I am keen to hear your perspective on Swiss education and research from this area. You are all part of the internationalization process of the Swiss research scene."
After the speech, the guests had the chance to interact with the following presenters:
- Philippe Cudre-Mauroux (MIT, computer science);
- Daniela Domeisen (MIT, climate physics);
- Paolo Erba (Harvard Medical School);
- Eveline Geiser (MIT, neuroscience);
- Dean Liang Glettig (Tufts University, biomedical engineering);
- Anna Grichting (MIT, urban planning);
- Anja Kollmuss (Stockholm Institute);
- Vincent Linder (Claros Diagnostics, entrepreneur).
