Please join us on Sunday, April 26, 10:00 – 12:00 am at swissnex Boston, 420 Broadway in Cambridge for another exciting event in the “Think Swim, Think Swiss” series, presented by the Cambridge Sc!ence Festival, the Charles River Conservancy and Swissnex Boston:
Build your own swimming structure
As part of the Cambridge Science Festival, presented by MIT, Swissnex Boston invites friends and families to join us on Sunday April 26th at 10:00 am to build your own swimming structures and let them float on location. Palo Coleman, early childhood education teacher in Cambridge, will help us construct swimmable structures out of recycle materials ExCL (Extras for Creative Learning).
Swissnex Boston and the Charles River Conservancy have fostered a partnership around with a project called “Think swim, think Swiss”, an initiative to inspire the re-introduction of swimming in the Charles River.
Join us for:
• Fun workshop for kids and their families lead by experienced teacher
• Exhibit of the 3D representations “Think swim, think Swiss”, pictures and more
• Talk to experts about river swimming
• Enjoy delicious Swiss treats
