This event tackles this pertinent issue at a most crucial point in history. In order to build a strong and qualified clean-energy workforce, standards for renewable energy professionals and training programs must be discussed. And, given that environmental issues cannot be solved domestically but must rather be addressed globally, it is vital that countries learn about each other’s education systems and start a global discussion on competency standards in clean-energy jobs. The event is the first international workshop on this topic in Cambridge.
