Where does the Universe come from? Are there actually more dimensions than we thought? Is there a risk of accidentally creating a black hole on our planet?

These questions and more will be addressed by Felicitas Pauss, Head of International Relations at CERN and Professor at the Institute for Particle Physics, ETH Zurich. In addition to Prof. Pauss’ presentation, we will connect “live” with the LHC command control of CERN.

Physicists around the world have focused their gaze on Switzerland, where the international organization CERN has started the most powerful particle accelerator on Earth. Now, a gigantic particle accelerator will recreate the Big Bang and revolutionize our understanding of the Universe.

The discussion will be followed by a reception, hosted by swissnex Boston.
