February 25, 2009 - World Trade Institute: Course Program and Summer Academy 2009
The World Trade Institute (WTI) is a center of advanced studies and a forum for interdisciplinary research and teaching in international trade law and economics, fostering interaction between students and professionals, and allowing researchers and practitioners to pool their expertise. The joint centre of the Universities of Berne, Neuchatel and Fribourg (Switzerland) provides teaching, training, consulting and research in the field of International Trade Regulation. The WTI flagship academic program is the Master of International Law and Economics (MILE). To benefit from the WTI’s unique expertise and experience in the field of graduate training in trade law, economics and policy consider the following programs at WTI:
Master of International Law and Economics (MILE): MILE is an intensive one-year program, whose 10th edition will be launched in September 2009. Applications are accepted until 31 March 2009.
MILE à la carte - selected weekly course modules within the MILE program: While this selective way of participating in our courses will not allow you to complete our Master’s program, you will gain in-depth insight into particular fields of international trade regulation and be exposed to our faculty of world-renowned academics and trade practitioners. All weekly courses are self-contained modules and are therefore accessible to weekly participation.
Our five-week Summer Academy: We have selected five topical areas on international trade regulation for those who wish to join us for one or more weeks in July and August 2009 (13 July – 14 August 2009). Applications are currently being accepted.
The Distance Learning Program on international trade regulation commencing in 2009 in association with Cameron May: www.wti.org or www.wti-itr.com.
