Call for Swiss Fulldome Film Projects!

In association with Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans, Geneva studio mySquare and creative space Le D.I.X, swissnex Boston has launched a call for Swiss Fulldome Film Projects for digital creators and audiovisual professionals working in Switzerland to apply for this year’s festivals!

A unique opportunity to get acquainted with VR and Fulldome technologies and to see your immersive film projected in a 360° dome at the next HUBweek* in Boston, USA (12-15 October 2017) and Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans, Switzerland (3-11 November 2017)!

This collaborative venture is designed to foster exchanges and meetings in relation to Swiss digital creation. The selected projects will premiere at the prestigious HUBweek in Boston in a dome set up in front of the Boston City Hall. They will then be screened in Geneva during the 23rd Festival Tous Ecrans.

A workshop on 360° technology and software (VR and Fulldome) for the makers will be held in Geneva in the summer. It will be led by François Moncarey of studio mySquare and will also be available online for live streaming.

*HUBweek is a festival for the future that celebrates innovation at the intersection of art, science, and technology. It is organized jointly by the Boston Globe, Harvard University, MIT and Massachusetts General Hospital
