We believe that the arts provide an important perspective on the innovation, science and technology that are shaping our future. It is, therefore, our mission to create meaningful connections between people and ideas in the arts, research, education, and innovation ecosystems in Switzerland and the United States. We facilitate a cross-disciplinary exchange to drive new and innovative collaborative projects and to drive artistic excellence and technological innovation.
We empower Swiss-affiliated artists, designers, architects, curators, and other arts professionals and institutions working at the intersection of the arts with education, research and technology to expand their reach, gain exposure, and find the right partners in North America.
What We Do
swissnex Boston acts as a match-maker, curator, and facilitator, helping artists, designers, architects, art professionals and cultural institutions gain ground, grow their networks, and build visibility through conferences, fairs, festivals, exhibitions, performances and research trips. Through our personalized and tailored approach we connect partners with local cultural institutions, professionals, academic institutions or private sector partners to help initiate and grow projects. We not only promote artistic excellence, but also encourage exchange on how technology and science influence the arts and academic reflections on practices within their respective fields.
We strive to find the best partner network for our stakeholders and are not only active in the greater Boston area, but also in other major hubs on the East Coast of North America, such as New York, Montréal, Chicago, Miami, and more.
