swissnex Boston Consul and CEO, Felix Moesner, will speak at the 71st American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD) taking place in Washington, DC on January 22nd.
The 71st ACAD Meeting is held in conjunction with the Centennial Annual Meeting of the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) in Washington D.C. taking place from January 21 – 24, 2015. The topic of this year’s AAC&U Annual Meeting is “Liberal Education, Global Flourishing, and the Equity Imperative”.
At the ACAD Meeting, Felix Moesner will participate in a panel, accompanied by Karen Oates, Dean of Arts and Sciences of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Mel Schiavelli, Executive Vice President of the Northern Virginia Community College. Their discussion, Walking the Talk: Creating a Strategic Plan for Global Engagement, will focus on creating a global strategy for American universities. The panel will discuss the benefits and challenges of “going global” and developing a university-wide international engagement strategy.
